League Rules

The official rules for RELAPSE DD League 2v2 sets.

Match Format

  • First to 10, win by 2.
  • Random teams every set — re-randomize if a redo is called.

Maps

  • Maps are the lobby’s choice.
  • Winding Vines is banned.
  • Highland Hustle, Ridge Rush, Skyline Spires, and Crystal Caverns are optional — only if both teams agree; if anyone disagrees, play the original maps circuit.

Banned Animals

  • Dragon, Falcon, and Unicorn are banned.

Items (per team, per set)

  • Max 1 Boost, 1 Blast, 1 Mag.
  • No Ice Axe, no Firecracker, no Sawblades.
  • Jump Boost is allowed.

Glitches

  • No cat-boost glitch.
  • No lion-boost glitch.

Animal & Special Changes

  • One animal change per player, per set — and the special must be announced.
  • Mid-set special changes must be announced — otherwise the opponent can call a redo.

Reporting a Result

  • One player submits the set for all four players and uploads a screenshot.
  • Named opponents Confirm or Dispute — a signal to admins, not a hard gate.
  • An admin approves; approval moves the ladder.

Seasons

  • Season 1 is a closed collab between RELAPSE and Palace members only.
  • Season 2 — TBD.

  • Play fair, and have fun.
  • Optional: stream your matches in the RELAPSE Discord server.
